Prosthetique is a mini project inspired by the work of Mari Katayama in 'The High Heel Project', specifically with a piece entitled 'Just One of Those Things 002'. The image pictures her in a custom pair of high heels fit to her prosthetic legs. It questions identity, freedom of choice through fashion and need for tools to express individuality. Prosthetique is a concept that starts to visualise a high-end prosthetics boutique, specialising in custom designs for prosthetic limbs, eyes, aids and more. The space is designed to be as inclusive as possible and accessible to those living within this world.
